A BBC ‘Nationwide’ report on David Bowie, filmed in 1973, with a pretty conservative attitude towards his appearance, music and rise to fame. 

Well the BBC was part of ‘the establishment’ and, at that time, everything about Bowie - his music, his appearance, his sexuality even - were new, subversive and seen as dangerous almost.
